== History and Founding ==
The Pioneer Association was established by a collection of disillusioned veterans of "silver-ranked" adventurers. Historically, local and regional adventurer's guilds operated independently with little oversight, frequently sending young, inexperienced teenagers on high-risk combat and extraction missions that resulted in premature deaths. 

Viewing this traditional cycle as both morally bankrupt and economically unsustainable, the founding silver-rank members began a systematic process of consolidation. They acquired and dissolved independent local guilds, replacing them with a unified franchise network. To protect prospective recruits, the founders implemented:
* Strict entry requirements and recruitment rules based on age and demonstrated capability.
* Mandatory training and standardized safety protocols.
* A centralized information network to catalog regional threats before dispatching contractors.

Over time, the Association's regulatory model proved highly successful, expanding its jurisdiction across the entirety of Rodinia.
